Our range of Restorative Dentistry services include, but not limited to, the following:

Composite Fillings

Composite fillings are used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks or fractures, closing gaps or worn down teeth.

The tooth-colored material can be closely matched to the color of the existing teeth, and is most commonly used on the most visible teeth. Although, composite fillings are not permanent and may need to be replaced in the future they are very durable, and will last many years giving you a beautiful smile.

The procedure can typically be done in one visit. While the tooth is numb the decayed or affected portion of the tooth is removed. The area is then thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the new filling. After the filling is precisely placed and molded to the tooth by our dentist it is then polished and restored to its natural original shape and function.

Some minor sensitivity to hot and cold is normal at first but this feeling will go away shortly after your tooth acclimates to the new filling.

You will be given care instructions at the end of your appointment.

Porcelain Crowns (Caps)

A porcelain crown or cap is a tooth-colored covering that encases the entire tooth to give it its natural shape and size. Crowns are used to strengthen the tooth structure when typical fillings cannot be used.

Porcelain crowns are made to match the exact shape, color and size of your teeth to give you that natural, long-lasting beautiful smile you've always wanted. The most common reasons for needed a crown is for fractured or broken teeth, cosmetic enhancement, decay, large fillings and root canals.

The procedure typically requires two appointments. First the dentist must make precise molds of the tooth to be used to create your custom crown. A temporary crown will be placed over the tooth for approximately two weeks until the new crown is fabricated. Your second visit will be to remove the temporary crown while tooth is numb and the tooth will be thoroughly cleaned and your new crown will be carefully set to ensure the spacing and bite are accurate.

You will be given care instructions at the end of your appointment.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Despite improvements in dental care, millions of Americans suffer tooth loss - mostly due to tooth decay, gingivitis (gum disease), or injury. For many years, the only treatment options available for people with missing teeth were bridges and dentures. But, today, dental implants are available.

Dental implants are replacement tooth roots. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to match your natural teeth.

Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. And because they are designed to fuse with bone, they become permanent allowing you to speak without worries, no discomfort while eating, and gives you more confidence.

Implants are very durable and will last many years. They require the same care as real teeth, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups. With good care, many implants last a lifetime.

You will be given care instructions at the end of your appointment. Call today to get more information on dental implants.

Porcelain Fixed Bridges

A dental bridge is an excellent way to replace missing teeth, maintain facial shape, prevent drifting teeth, restore chewing and speaking ability, and give you a more permanent natural smile. There are several types of fixed bridges and together you and the dentist will discuss the best option for you.

Porcelain bridges are most commonly used because they resemble your natural teeth. The bridge consists of two crowns that are applied to two anchoring teeth. The crowns are attached to the artificial teeth that fill the gap created by missing teeth. Getting a bridge usually requires two or more visits.

Porcelain bridges are extremely durable but may need replacement or adjustment due to normal wear. You will be given care instructions at the end of your appointment.
